Recently, NET received notification that Home Depot was involved in a data breach. If we receive notification that your NET MasterCard debit card was involved in the data compromise, you will be notified by NET FCU via US Mail. As of now, we have not detected any fraud on our members account from this compromise. If your card was involved, you may elect to have a new card issued as a safeguard, at no charge.
This data compromise was NOT a result of operations at NET Federal Credit union. The compromised data potentially involves the entire magnetic strip which includes the cardholder name, card number, card expiration date, and CVV/CVC counterfeit protection.
We recommend that you review your recent debit card purchases for accuracy. NET FCU offers our home banking service to our members for free you may use this free service to access your account information 24/7/365. If you notice a transaction that you may not be familiar with, please call us at the number below.
Home Depot is offering free services including credit monitoring, identity monitoring, and an identity theft insurance policy for anyone who shopped at a store between April 11th and September 7th 2014. Currently, they believe online shopping was not impacted.
