Local community leaders and professionals reviewed more than 100 applicants before deciding on the winners of the awards
NET Credit Union won two 2016 Sage Awards for Best Practices in Customer Service and Best Practices in Marketing and Communications at the newly renovated Theater at North, which resides at the Goodwill at North Gerald T. Langan Apartments. Many local businesses came together to celebrate one another at this event.
The Scranton Chamber of Commerce hold The Sage (Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence) Awards annually to honor Scranton’s local businesses for their talent, creativeness and innovation. This year, there were a total of 16 awards.
Consequently, Clarence Baltrusaitis, our CEO, was flabbergasted to win the award in Best Practices in Customer Service with NET. “This award really goes to the dedication of my staff,” says a grateful Baltrusaitis.
In addition to the Best Practices in Customer Service award, Mileise P. S. Cooney, our Marketing Director, was honored when she received the Best Practices in Marketing and Communications Award on behalf of NET. “I am grateful for the collaboration-that is what makes us win,” expresses Cooney.
