NET Credit Union Donates $10,000 to The Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA

The Donation was raised from the 2017 Fundraisers

NET Credit Union donated $10,000 to the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA. This year, NET Credit Union hosted two fundraisers; all proceeds raised went towards the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA. This first fundraiser was NET’s inaugural, Cornhole Tournament, which was held at The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in downtown Scranton. NEPA Cornhole assisted NET with this event. The second fundraiser was NET’s 4th Annual Netoberfest Golf Tournament, which was held at Pine Hills Country Club in Taylor, Pa.  Because of these two successful events, NET was able to give such a generous donation to such an unfortunate cause that desperately needs funds, but more importantly needs awareness.

The Children’s Advocacy Center, developed in 1998, is now the iconic blue house with the pink door on Mulberry Street in Scranton. The CAC is a non-profit organization that is the first stop for children before they enter the justice system. Their mission is help assist children who have been through unimaginable circumstances open up in a safe and comfortable environment.
