Scranton, PA March 18, 2020- NET Credit Union donates $25,000 to Meals on Wheels of NEPA to help support during the Coronavirus crisis. Meals on Wheels will use these funds to support their essential food service program during this time.

Meals on Wheels was founded and funded in 1969 by the Older American Acts to provide nutritional services to home-bound older citizens. During this coronavirus crisis, Meals on Wheels of NEPA is more than ever committed to our mission of providing essential food and services, which they deliver to elderly and homebound clients, preparing approximately 1,000 meals each day. Volunteers and staff provide an extremely important safety check for all clients receiving meals. They even assist in helping feed their clients’ pets.
