The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s Young People’s Concert provided a unique opportunity for these students to explore classical music as part of their educational curriculum. Students also learned about the history of both the composer and the performed works, helping them to make more meaningful connections with the music.
NET Credit Union provided t-shirts for both students and staff to wear to the concert, two buses for transportation to and from the event, and lunch for the day.
The Scranton School District is a Preferred Partner Group of NET Credit Union. This means all staff, their families and students are eligible to bank with NET Credit Union. Because we value the importance of giving back to our Preferred Partner Groups, the decision to sponsor this opportunity was an easy one.

About
A Credit Union is a place to do your banking. NET is a not-for-profit financial institution, and we operate like a bank except we don’t issue stock on Wall St. Since we don’t have to pay stockholders, we use our income to provide lower loan rates, higher deposit rates, reinvest in our community, give to charities (#netcares), and keep our fees low. There’s so much more you get when you bank on NET.
